Just one glance at the new Jeep® Gladiator tells you that it’s unmistakably Jeep. However, unlike their other models, it’s not an SUV. This is the brand’s very first pickup truck, and it’s already making a name for itself in the class.

Performance

The Jeep Gladiator comes with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. This is mated to a six-speed manual transmission, but an eight-speed automatic is available. The Jeep Gladiator has a five-foot bed, and if you need more room, both the top and side doors can be removed. Plus, the windshield can be folded. This Jeep truck lets you tow up to 7,650 lb and haul up to 1,600 lb when properly equipped. It also offers 10 inches of ground clearance, skid plates, and four-wheel drive.

Technology

One of the standout features in this Jeep truck is the Uconnect® infotainment system. Extremely user-friendly, the five-inch touchscreen is very responsive. Other standard tech features include two USB ports, an eight-speaker sound system, and Bluetooth®. Navigation, HD and satellite radio, extra USB ports, Android Auto™, Apple CarPlay™, and a detachable Bluetooth® speaker are all available. A larger touchscreen is also available.

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator comes standard with several safety features, including brake assist, traction control, and a rollover protection system. Many others are also available, such as forward collision warning, blind spot monitoring, rear parking sensors, automatic emergency braking, and rear cross-traffic alert.
