MotorWorld Chrysler is proud to support Pennsylvania organizations through participation in the Commonwealth’s COSTARS cooperative purchasing program. Designed to simplify procurement for eligible public-sector entities, COSTARS connects approved suppliers with organizations seeking efficient purchasing solutions through established state contracts.
What Is the COSTARS Purchasing Program?
Administered by the Pennsylvania Department of General Services, the COSTARS program helps qualifying organizations purchase vehicles, equipment, and services through competitively awarded statewide contracts. Rather than managing independent bidding procedures for every purchase, participating organizations can work directly with approved suppliers through the Commonwealth’s cooperative purchasing framework.
Businesses interested in becoming COSTARS suppliers must complete Pennsylvania’s supplier registration process, participate in the state bidding system, and meet applicable contract compliance standards. Approved suppliers are then able to provide products and services to eligible COSTARS members throughout Pennsylvania.
The program is available to a broad range of organizations, including municipalities, public school districts, fire departments, ambulance and rescue companies, nonprofit educational institutions, public authorities, and other entities that utilize public funds for procurement.
For participating organizations, COSTARS can help simplify purchasing procedures, reduce administrative workload, improve procurement efficiency, and provide access to competitively solicited contracts from approved vendors. Eligible organizations can join the program at no cost.
